I pursued this on other occasions. Same in Kanber and ArdiŤ.
E.g. i(0147 Kazim Is.) said he had abandoned 20 out of 30 dšn.
Others say tractor owners do not abandon fields so early because they do not have to pay cash.

When oxen were the only means people used them. Now old cannot; young won't (without a tractor). And no oxen; and they are very expensive. TL12,000 a pair. Kanber added: If you count the time of the ploughman and the annual costs of the feeds it still does not pay to plough.
