My own view:
1. State has lost control of violence.
- Police incompetent
- Courts slow and complex
- Penalties humane and lenient {?}
2. Killing is acceptable; spreading beyond politics.
3. 2 rival {?} of mafias, collecting protection money.
4. The reality is daily roughing up, harassment. Everyone is afraid.
5. No obvious way of reversing the trend (beyond army). Extreme right --> civil war.
