Village founded in 1932, to save settled land from Karaosmanlar - very large local landowning family. Now larger than their parent village. They claim all to be of same stock.
The lower village was plainly more open. E.g. they have married out and in - so they said building costs confirmed
200,000 TL and house (200,000) = 400,000 TL
95% sultanas (seedless) and vegetables etc.
Irrigation in this case did not change crops or methods much; but did increase yields.
