Kanber: {PS...?: Elem's} wife has spun several strands of thick wool together, to make a length like rope of about 1/2" thickness. She pulled off about 6 equal
lenghts of this home-spun rope (about 1 and 1/2 yds. long) then planted them together, looping the ends through so as to make a fixed knot. Result a very
strong piece of cord, which she said wld. be used for leading and harnessing animals.
