i(0185)'s 'ev' - observation - 'tandr' - covered by large flat stone. All cooking done in this way.
'lmek' - large utensil {gl: Margaret is likely to have got this right. The transposition of consonants was very common in village dialect}{c: because we were
struggling to learn, unfortunately I normally recorded the dictionary version in my notes. I consciously decided that it was not my job to record the local
dialect. An error?}
'uzluk' - smaller cooking vessel i(0185)'s mother i(5204 Fatima Kartn)
Potatoes put into the tandr whole and in their jackets and roasted. Supply kept going throughout day. Handed to guests, eaten by family around tandr'.
i(5204 Fatima), - "we use potatoes a lot". She understood my method of cooking and mashing - "we do the same."
