Impact of State on Village Structure

Discussion amongst group of women outside i(0039 Hacahmet Aslan)'s house re the election. i(0155 Ibrahim Isk)'s 2nd. wife produced child's garment to which she
had attached a little white star - "Halk partesi",{gl: Turkey's 1st free election in May. Atatruk's Halk Partisi v. Demokrat Partisi} imi. I said I thought
Ibrahim was a Democrat. "Yes", she said, "he is, but I voted Halk. He told me to vote Democrat but I didn't." His other wife says she voted Halk too. i(0039
Hacahmet)'s wife then said - "i(0039 Haci Ahmet) Democrat, but I voted Halk." i(5050 Aye Gokpnar) Ane}, {then} i(0462 Ali Canveren)'s wife, voted Democrat.
