Visit to Alaynl. Received by men at entrance to village and taken to muhtar's 'oda'. Men greeted me and treated me with respect, as to Paul. Both of us given
coffee. Shortly afterwards I said I wld. go to the 'ev' to sit with the women. This was greeted with approval by the men as being very suitable - "mnasip."
Prepared to have me in the 'oda' as an okumu and w. women, but more pleased that I shld. join the women in the 'ev'.
