Clothing

Muhacirs, escaped Turkish minority from Communist Bulgaria, apparently quite prosperous peasant farmers there. Women wear very baggy trousers of silk or cotton
tied only at the ankles, - thus hanging down in graceful folds as they walk. A blouse of local cotton worn, and a scarf tied over the head and under chin - do
not cover their faces. Some of their children had cheap W. style dresses. Clothing of men Western, save for gay cotton blouses fastened high around the neck.
