22/7 Harvesting - reaping by scythe or sickle; scything - gather cut corn with foot, by use of a bundle of rushes, depositing in sheaths, these gathered
into deste, which remains in the field until loaded into kan {two-wheeled ox cart} and carried to harman {threshing ground}. Village is buzzing with women and
children going back and forth on donkeys, especially about 8.45 - 10.00 and 2.45 - 4.00p.m., when food is sent out.
Except - group helping i(Mehmet Aksoy), reaping in line, moving forward, about 3 feet behind each other. After this, a heavy wooden rake is dragged over the
field, gathering the crop into lines; this is towed by a man, or woman, by rope over the shoulder. (i(Hseyn Tufan) and a woman)
Village boundary with Sleymanli - second ridge to east from village.
