The Benevento formulary - State of SoulsFinishing the surveyWhen the priest has described all of the houses in the Parish he must summarise the information. A note warns him to include religious houses and hospitals. A summary is to be presented to the Archbishop's Chancellery no more than 15 days after Easter.
When the description of the whole Parish is finished, show at the end the summary of all the souls in this form.
Parish priests should also note, that in this description of the state of souls, they should enter likewise the Monasteries and Convents of male and female religious, and the Hospitals, where these have persons permanently resident, such as Orphans, Foundlings, servants, etc. And by the end of fifteen days after Easter each Parish Priest is obliged to present at the Archepiscopal Chancellary the brief summary of the state of souls in his whole Parish, under arbitrary penelties.
